Originally founded by Philip Clay after studying Fine Craft at University, Philip Clay Designs create high-end architectural joinery, fitted cabinetry and free standing bespoke furniture including kitchens, libraries, fitted wardrobes and soft furnishings. Philip’s wife Keighley studied Fashion Print at Central Saint Martins and went on to design for the iconic British store Liberty, creating many of their most successful prints. It was there that her love for interiors blossomed and only natural that she should join forces with her husband Philip this year. Based in the Hertfordshire countryside, their first collection together is ‘The English Garden Collection’, for which Keighley has created a stunning fabric design showcasing a tangle of colourful flowers and foliage, originally delicately hand painted in water colour. Both are committed to creating beautiful pieces with meticulous attention to detail and Philip’s bespoke furniture and Keighley’s intricate designs compliment each other perfectly.
